The Bucklin/Macon County softball team was in Brashear Tuesday. Brashear took an early 2-0 lead after one inning and added 2 more in the 3rd and another pair in the 4th to make the score 6-0. BMC rallied in the 5th with 4 runs and added another in the 6th, but the Lady Tigers scored 1 more time in the bottom of the 6th to hang on for a 7-5 win. Averi Acton went 4 for 4 with 2 singles, a double, and a triple for Brashear. Hannah Reeves, Alexa Higgins, Hannah Grissom, and Callie Althide each had 2 hits, and Tanna Garlock also had a hit. Averi Acton got the win, striking out 7.
